An Orange County Home for Pregnant Women & their Babies

Your Birth Team is passionate about supporting low-income families wherever possible. There's no greater need for support than in Orange County's shelters for parents and babies. For many years, Amanda was employed at Casa Teresa in Orange, CA and got to witness first-hand just how amazing this organization and its residents are. Though she has transitioned into working with the shelter in a volunteer capacity, she is just as in love with the staff, clients, & babies as ever! 

As part of our mission to give back to our community and provide accessible information, support, & care to women & families of all income levels, Your Birth Team's members make themselves available to residents for childbirth preparation, drop-in postpartum support, infant feeding and lactation counseling visits, and more. We also help residents of the shelter match up with birth doulas for volunteer opportunities and help spread awareness of the shelter to potential donors. 

Want to get involved? Call Casa Teresa and set up a time to share a meal with the residents. Volunteers for babysitting, donation sorting, fundraising events, and more are always needed! And of course, monetary donations are always graciously accepted in any amount.
